Old faithful carries Ian Allkins to encouraging Thundersport. IAN Allkins got his Thundersport campaign under way at Brands Hatch where his results provided plenty of encouragement for the coming season. Riding his trusty Honda, which now has a very tired engine, he finished 13th in his opening race at the Kent circuit, despite having a poor start. The Oakwood racer was forced to pull out of his second race with a mechanical issue while occupying ninth place but he fared better with a new set of tyres third time out, bringing the bike home eighth.
